Just saw this article (w/ pics) of the new Honda insight. It’s more Prius-like than its predecessor, which also sported weird little flaps that covered half the rear tire. To my eye, at lease, those covers made the car look cheap and plastic-y.
I never understood the compulsion to make electric and hybrid cars look like something out of Logan’s Run. Case in point, the Aptera. Yeah, it looks cool, sure, but it also looks fragile.
